Best strategies for a new website

I just created a new website and I think SEO has changed a lot since I did my previous websites +5 years ago. What strategies work best now, specially for link building? Thanks!

Yeah, SEO’s changed a lot. These days, quality niche links, digital PR, and strong internal linking work way better than bulk backlinks. Relevance beats quantity now.

For new sites, good content and links from related sites work better than getting many quick links.

Guest posting is still the most effective for me, it helps build natural links and increases brand credibility if you choose the right related page.

brand mentions are the new cool kid on the block now.

If you manage to get your site mentioned by other sites (preferably big ones with millions of monthly visitors, but these are probably expensive as fuck) regularly (few times a week for several months) I think you won't need to proactively build any links at all. Brand mentions are cool, and everyone wants them nowadays
