Best Split testing times

Hi guys

Lately I've been testing a bit with adwords, and while the whole new experience is lots of fun, there is one thing I'd like to ask instead of paying a lot of learning the hard way. Here it goes:

What is considered the optimal timeframe for a split test?

A day? A week?

Good question. I general, the more data you have the better because there will be trends that happen over the course of months or even years (i.e. seasonality, market demand fluctuations, etc). I would say a week at least but try for longer. I supposed you could make your decision on length based on how important the answers are. If it isn't that vital maybe do it for a week. If it is vital to what your goals are, try to get a couple weeks' worth of data.
