best software for video editing?

Well, After Effects isn't designed for video editing at all! You want to use Adobe Premiere for that. That being said, it really depends what projects you're working on: you may want to pick something lighter like some online video editing software if you're just trimming video and adding music.

Use Adobe Premiere and VEGAS Pro for video editing (these are my personal favorites, easy to learn yet very powerful). Then after you get good at these two, learn After Effects (used for more complex editing like special effects etc...)

I think it all depends on your computer power. I have a Ryzen 3 laptop with 8GB and one program wouldn't even run!
Currently I'm using WonderShare Filmora X for my daughters YouTube channel which does everything I need it to do at the moment but my son said I should use Sony Vegas which I have also downloaded but it requires a different approach to Filmora.

I have a good configuration computer so computer power isn't an issue it just I am very new to IM and really want to kick start with youtube thanks a lot i will look at sony vegas and filmora both
thanks checking adobe premier, i have LinkedIn learning account also checking courses there my main goal to produce videos like this

This more like animation type of a video. I suggest that you subscribe to adobe and you can get most of their softwares on monthly For like $52, this will include photoshop, AP, AI and many other apps they have and you will also find free courses there as well.thank you all I really appreciate all replies and advice

Creative live offers some good courses as well but they are not free, it did however help me with premier pro a lot.

You can get them from CGPersia. I think the Monkrus version are trusted
Advice? Get a cheap SSD as a D: drive and run them in VMware stored on the SSD
Or install Mobile Racks and create a dedicated video editing hard drive using all the hacked software but never put any sensitive passwords on it

Unless you´re a professional video editing guy which I don´t think you are or you wouldn´t be asking this question. I would go with Wondershare Filmora.
They offer two versions of the software, the Filmore X and Filmora Pro.
The first one is more oriented for beginners while the ladder is more suited for people with some video editing experience.

Whatever you use these no easy way as you need an understsnd timeline and many filters and features.
You can use template applications to save time on video.

Adobe Premiere if you want to get serious. There is a learning curve though and that's because you can do 1 thing so many different ways but it is also packed with so many different features.
The fastest way to learn premiere is to start off on a project immediately and then type each question you have into google or youtube as you go along. It can be a bit overwhelming at first but it's way worth it if you're going to be editing videos.
