Best Social Networking software for pets website?

I'm looking for the best social networking software package available for my purposes. I am making a social networking website for pet owners, so what I really need is the ability to make multiple profiles within one single account. I saw a SocialEngine Pets plugin, but its limitations mean your pets are basically just listed and they can't actually "interact" with other users.

I don't know how to code AT ALL, so I would need to hire someone to do customizations. In other words, scalability and having a lot of available plugins are major pluses.
