Anyone have any suggestions on the best sites to post articles that will rank page 1 on Google for someones unique name? Client has one or two bad things written about him and looking for best sites to post positive articles to.

Try with forbes.com and it's type of some other high quality sites

For reputation management you really want to focus on sites that can get the name into the title. That can be as simple as "John Smith Reviews 5 Gadgets" or even, "My Interview with John Smith". The closer to the front of the title the better.
