best site to test

i know somewhere there's a thread in here already but im just trying to figure out what ids the best web 2.0 site if not squidoo or like squidoo to test a niche on b4 doing a full blown campaign...
i have just read the one week marketing guide and got some info from that but some i already knew from reading BHW or course, but i believe she does need to add more link building to the campaign but at the end she did say that u can use other methods but to her defense you can only do so much in a week, but she focuses mainly on squidoo but i am assuming correct me if im wrong you just need to rinse and repeat with other sites like squidoo...
but i just wanted to know other sites beside squidoo and ezinearticle that would actually rank high for testing purposes...

Use Squidoo. They have the most relaxed affiliate policy, and are well regarded by Google.

so basically its best to make a page with squidoo and bookmark, ping, etc... and wait for google to index and make sure the page is optimized... i was reading the one week marketing guide and it seems to be a straight forward guide... and i may just mix that with the linkwheel method if i see the niche is becoming profitable
