Best site for hiring freelancer

Greetings,

Couple days ago i joined fiverr, edited my profile and posted gig.
All im geting from it are bot msgs and thats all(i signed for site backend dev). 3 years ago i found a job on freelancer . com( ebook formating autmatization, did vba ), and i was satisfied till guy i worked for quit.

I read couple of post here on bhw and i saw ppl saying fiverr svcks, freelancer svcks.
Well is there a site i should visit beside em. (odesk is not an option)

Go to google and search for blackhatworld, I hear they have a hire a freelancer section there.

Unfortunately op can't offer services. Anyway he's been a member for 2 years and only 7 posts, offering a service he'd need to be quicker than that lol!

I don't personally like those types of site, they take the p*** out of hard-working freelancers.

However, if that's the route you want to go down then maybe try People per Hour.

most of those sites are pay the lady, and ppl will trust u.
i was thinking about site where u will be provide with paid job on registration and prove urself. (sounds too good tho)

I have had good luck with using upwork for some freelance work.

I've had some good luck at UpWork. Lots of medium and large sized companies use it & if you do a good job & overdeliver you get so many referrals you'll have enough work for yeears

JK, but honestly UpWork has been pretty good to me. I've even gotten some clients from Fiverr who I upsold to a higher priced service, but most Fiverr clients suck.

IMO it goes:
1. Fiverr - worst clients, lowest pay.
2. UpWork- better clients, low-medium pay.
3. Referrals/warm/cold outreach- better clients, better pay
