I want to start an online store that sells clothing, jewelry, etc... Can someone please recommend a couple of the best sites that can do that for me... customizable store fronts, can do tax, shipping, all that.

I'm with ecrater right now but their store front is extremely simple with no customizable options.

    Much thanks

hey t420, thanks. I looked at yahoo ecommerce but they charge pretty hefty percentage of your sales. Any other ecommerce recommendations?

Use magento and enjoy the absolutely insane cost for customizing.

If you don't want to manage the code or server, you could go with pinnaclecart. They offer an SaaS package. While it may be expensive, you'll get support and you wont have to deal with a shopping cart that was designed in all the wrong ways. You'll still be able to customize the look and code though.

Magento is sweet, and they do not charge for transactions
