I initially meant to ask about low starting capital methods for Set and Forget
So granted real estate, stocks, storage units, laundromats, yes definitely viable but requires a good chunk of change to start.

Rental business is set and forget. Similarly in real estate if you open a hotel, it is also very much passive only.

No business is set and forget. Even buying and renting properties needs your time. Investments on the other hand can be set and forget, but for that you need to have a huge chunk of money to begin with.

It will depend on your local area, but in general, storage units have higher profit margins and lower startup costs than many of the other ideas in your list.

These days, I am not even sure if set and forget can work exactly since everything requires some additional work and monitoring. But some methods that could bring some passive incomes even if you don't work on them all days are related to writing and publishing ebooks, earning from cryptocurrencies, affiliate marketing as well as your primary task is to post links that should generate clicks in later stages. Something like this would be most closely related to your question.

Hey fellas,

Set and Forget Businesses are simply the business that can automated easily by outsourcing.

Say I am real estate agent and I make 3000$ per deal that I settle. Here I'm doing the work, all by myself and hence all the money is mine. Now let us think of automated version of this thing.

I hire a group of people, and then I advertise with 10% of the amount of the brokerage that I will make when deal will be done. And yeah, that will be more than enough to find me a buyer or seller to proceed with. Hence I am spending 300$ for finding a person to proceed with.

Then I ask one of my people that I hired to go for a visit with the buyer or seller to settle the deal. I promise him to give 20-30% of the total amount of brokerage when the deal is done. Hence, the person I've hired will work with utmost care as he is not salaried but making the money through deal.

Note that the person who deals for a little commission will never work for more than 2-3 years. Hence, it is better to keep a long job contract so that he don't leave in between. The employee will always want to leave the job because he know that I am getting only 30% amount of brokerage and gaining leads is also not very hard.

Hence, now you are making 1,800$ on autopilot without going to office. You spent only 300$ and you got 1,800$. You don't want to own any property.

In my opinion this is the best automated business plan anyone can ever do. Experts please let me know If I am missing something cuz I am planning to do this kind of thing in near future. I want to know about possible loopholes!

If you find any such method then let me know. You set the business and forget it, then I will take care of the money.

Build a content website by scraping content from other sites. Give them due credit back to avoid DMCA . Put it on auto pilot and forget.

Check back after few months if your traffic increased or not.

Mass emailing definitely isn't set and forget. You have to constantly try to be avoiding the spam box and it's a total pain in the ass wouldn't recommend it
