Best SERP tracker software/website/etc?

I'm looking for a good SERP tracking application, whether it's software or web-based doesn't really matter.. I'm using MarketSamurai currently and it takes a long time to update each of my sites, plus it doesn't seem to be noticing backlinks at all (sites still have 0 but when I go on ahref.com I can see 6+ on each)

I've heard of SerpBuddy and SerpBook.. any other suggestions? Also, please give me a bit of info as to why you like yours. :)

PS. I'm more inclined to pay one time for something rather than monthly, but it's just personal preference.

Serpbuddy is great if you are looking for a web-based service, and if you're looking for a software, I prefer Rank Tracker. Rank Tracker is a pain sometimes however, it hangs on random keywords, and checks 10 results/page rather than 100/page which makes the process takes longer.

As for MS not showing backlinks and ahrefs does, that's because Majestic probably pulls it data from OSE or Majestic. You're going to have that problem with all the link checkers. Only solution is checking is manually in WMT, OSE, Majestic and Ahrefs.
 
micrositemasters works well for me, updated (twice I think) daily
 
rankerizer dot com is good - ignore the upsell, and just get the software. Multiple domains, unlimited keywords.
 
I have used Traffic Travis and Market Samurai(Just started), but with both of these I get a great amount of data on my websites.

I would also recommend both whether free or paid versions.
 
I have been using MicrositeMasters for a while now and they have very affordable plans and i haven't have any problems with them at all. I will be sticking with them as long as they offer such a good service :)
 
The best ones will be subscription based. So the best is serp buddy. But if you are low on funds then go for serp book.
