Best serp / rank checking.

Hey m8's !

Well, I just recently bought a domain and started link building on it. Well I can see that its indexed, but what i would like is to see where on Google its placed whether its page 1 or 500, so i can track my progress and see if my work helps the serp.

So what tools do you recommend for checking back links (just to watch when my links get indexed) and serp checker (most check a lot of pages as you can see, actually i dont even know if any checker can check that long down through the pages)?

and also, how long do you think normal indexing of the back links take? :)

Since it is only 1 site you can use free tools like Rank checker firefox plugin..

The best tool on the market is Rank tracker from Link assistant..

You can also use Market samurai that is also good.

Learn to use the "Search button".

Long, long time and you can never be sure which ones will get indexed and which ones will die before die ever get a chance. Just ping them for faster indexing.

Now, with that said, search the forum and you will find plenty of tools and member reviews and opinions on them.
 
i am always using "rank checker firefox plugin/adon from SEO Book"
This is the best serp checking method for me so far.

and if you are looking for online rank checking tool then getserp.com is also good. :)

Rank checker is excellent and is actually being shared in the DL section. My experience of online tools is that they give ambiguous results.

You can also check your ranking through website as per keyword.
 
i use MS rank tracker and also rank tracker from link assistance. by far rank tracker by link assistance gives far more accurate and more data. both of them paid though

Go to seobook.com reg and download plugin/addon for firefox, after installing it, there is a rank checker. On that you can give anchor/KW and URL, you will get in which spot in google, not page. if its 105, probably it will be in a range 10-12 pages.

Its free but lacks accuracy. Yet I use. :)

Rank Tracker by link assistant. Hands down. Costs just under $100, but works amazing.
 
I have been pretty happy with Se Scout so far, the interface looks good, its easy to use and the reports are very detailed. Monthly subscription though.
