I know this question has probably been asked many time, but I would like to know what is the best seo software as of now that you guys are using to check, the monthly searches it has on google, as well as how hard it would be to rank that keyword and the amount of backlinks it has etc. Please Advise

If you want in-depth analysis, then look into Market Samurai. If you want ease of use with a little less depth, then check out Long Tail Pro.

If you want a free version (recommended) use Google Keywords Tool, Semrush and opensiteexplorer

What I like to do is use Google Keywords to find the keywords, and then I use the SEOQuake plugin to check out the competition. And if I feel like I need to check the backlinks of my competitors I use Majestic SEO to check out their link profile in more depth

I think SEO spyglass still works great for competition analysis. And I prefer market samurai for keyword analysis.

market samurai is a bit slow, try UNF and also use free traffic travis tool or SEOQuake

I use Market samurai, I don't think it's slow and all, I have been using this for a long time and am happy with that.

And yea am also using majestic seo to check links.
