I don't use any software... I use my brain and try to reverse engineer Google's algorithm. Which i've even predicted what google's going to do up to 3mo in advance before.

I watch what works and what doesn't and get top ranks. I also implement strategies based on concepts I come up with. Computers are logical so if you think logically they are generally easy to follow, predict, and understand. I will admit to occasionally using some free submission tools or some other minor tools just to play or research with but, 99% of the time i don't use any tools.

anyone used seomoz's linkscape...sounds good. better than seo elite. Not sure what to go for.

SEO Elite has worked for me for more than 2 years and I am getting good information and results from using it.

I think seo software needs to be split into 2 catorgory's and that is:

-- Analysis

and

-- Implementation

And as we all know analysis basically comes down to Link analysis.

So which is the the most competent link analysis software?

Implementing seo software would be the tools that do the grunt work - like article submitting/auto commenting.

It all depends on what service u want to use for ur SEO...Xrumer is good one and sliq submitter is also gud for link building..

I agree it would be nice to have an SEO software split into those two catagories. I do know however that SEO Elite allows you to do the link analysis and has a Article and Directory Submitting feature it works pretty well.

Virustotal says its clean. But it asks for a registered email address after installation. Might as well just download it from seoelite.com/SEOE_setup4089.exe - gives you the same result (gets the software, but leaves you needing a registered email address)

I too am a big fan of SEO Elite for analysis... and once my analysis is done I like to use Bookmarking Demon and Blog Commentor Demon. Bookmarking Demon takes a long time to load quality bookmaking sites into but once you are done it is great. At some point I will have to try some of the more expensive software packages.

I really don't know why everyone loves Seo Elite. All it is good for is link analysis, but let's look at that. It can not get by Google, and as far as I know there is not a software out there that can. You can go to Google webmaster tools and get an accurate look at the actual backlinks on your site but not a competitor. Seo Elite can not track backlinks in MSN. Once again webmaster tools for msn can tell you your site but not any competitor. As for Yahoo, altavista, and alltheweb it only goes up to 1000 backlinks. Anyone who is targeting a big keyword or even a mild one will be competing with sites that have well above a 1000. For instance "work at home". If you use Seo Elite you would think that all you have to do is get around 1800 backlinks and you are on the first page. The reality is websites on the first page have 18000 backlinks at least. The best tool to look at your competitors is yahoo. Go here

at least I think that is it. Enter your site or your competitor's site at the top and it will give you the most accurate list of backlinks and pages listed in yahoo. The backlinks are always pretty close to what I have in Google.

Seo Elite has nothing that works anymore. Finding what web pages are indexed only works in Yahoo, altavista, and alltheweb, and that is only half the time. Finding where you site is ranked per keyword is the same crap. All other Seo great items are worthless.

As for Brad, I used to think this guy was something until after all these years I see that all he does is email you to buy some other program or crap. He is a marketer that has taken too much advantage of his opt-in list. He has not spent the time updating or correcting his software. Trust me back in the day I bought all of it, and I still promote a lot of it, but not to this crowd. Just look at linkmetro which was very promising in the day and now is crap for a link exchange site. Just my opinion, lol

I Like IBP But Not Amazing, I Personally Think Xrumer The Best By Far

SEO Elite is best around and IBP is ok..

where can I get a "free version" of IBP?

I like IBP better than Seoelite, also heard that Market Samurai's pretty good but haven't had the time to try it out yet
