    Hez guys,

I'm looking for the best known SEO software and hope you could help me with your experience. I've read a lot of Threads, forums, articels etc and found some good programms. Whats the best in your opinion and what isnt worth to buy?

I would like to manage (actually) 3 websites of mine and would check them week-/monthly and need a good tool to optimise them and get a detailed seo report too. I would pay for the software, no cracking sh#t.

    I'm interested in the following
    - Market Samurai
    - SEO Power Suite
    - WebCEO (online or offline)
    - IBP (standard or business)
    - SEOmoz (but to expensive)

hope for some nice feedback and thanks +)

HI.. I like your integrity in buying software. But, I would recommend you try IBP or SEO Powersuite to check out which suits you best. The website auditor in SEO Powersuite is very comprehensive, but takes too long to land up with results.

IBP is very fast. However, apart from Onsite SEO I don't see much need for the tool. I have used these 2 and would recommend SEO Powersuite. It's got the awesome rank tracker, spyglass and website auditor. The link builder is only reciprocal links, but these add ons make it a better buy.

Have they always had the live plan feature where you have to renew to continue? I had purchased Spyglass and they said my live plan expired and they now want more money.

I just don't remember if that was there before.

Market Samurai will do more than other SEO softwares. Also you can try VenomSEO in BST section.

    Apples, Oranges and Pomegranates.

You have titles here that actually perform tasks and automation and titles that do nothing but monitor and report.

If you are paying for your software - and you really should be if it makes you money, Market Samurai is definitely the best value out there. There are some features that I never use like the content finder stuff, but for quick competition look ups, its great. The guys who make it are always updating it and the community of users is active in sharing innovative ways to use the info that you can gather.

IBP is OK for making huge reports for clients who are impressed by size over substance. Unless IBP has made some big changes in the past year, its bloated and outdated and works on a page level so its useless for big sites. Again, maybe its changed recently but I wouldn't ever pay for it.

Scrapebox kicks ass and can do some really powerful stuff, IMO its the LINUX of the tools - not pretty but doesn't give a shit because it gets the job done. The price is more than reasonable for everything it does.

I used to love SENuke but the big build up to SENuke X turned out to be lipstick on a pig - it is still based on outdated methods. I was a paying member for a long time and loved the account setup features and captcha solving, but thats not worth $97 a month. They are shady anyway, they owe me a measly $350 in affiliate commissions from a single referral (according to their stats), that I discovered when I logged in to checkout SENuke X. I contacted them repeatedly but they have never responded to a support ticket - Areeb finally answered a PM implying there was some kind of fraud, which is complete B.S. In the past 2 years I have probably sent them over 100 paying customers simply by word of mouth, so now I have no problems chiming in to tell people not to bother paying for it. Trying to explain to a client or company that you are using a software title with the word NUKE in it is always fun too.

The value in SEOMoz is not in the online tools, but more so in the community and information. SEOMoz does have some cool tools for research and campaigns, but I think its over priced (I do pay for it anyway). I think SEOMoz is kind of the IPhone of the SEO community - all the cool kids have one.

I am still a fan of Raven and have been with them since the beginning. They have good support, the reports are nice, re-branding and white-labeling is nice, plus the grandfathered me in on pricing - but watch out if you go over your allotted amount of tracked keywords. Raven is a good mix between reporting, monitoring, and analytics.

    WebCEO - Bloated junk

The 'Suites' are not going to do anything for you but build massive reports with pretty charts and keyword tracking.

I use IBP (BHW copy), but only for scheduling and doing my monthly search engine submission.
I like the rank tracker in SEO power Suite.

I have many tools, there is no one perfect tool, i use a little of everything to achieve my goals

Maybe I should say that I dont need SEO tools to "make me something" I jsut need them to get a detailed report what I should change manuelly.. I don't like any automatic optimization, I'll do alle stuff in/off-site by my hands

Then I'd definitely recommend SEO Powersuite. When it comes to reporting, it's the best (IMO). And, you can change the reports it generates as you please.

Powersuite is better than market samurai in my opinion.. plus with market samurai you see majestic seo data and if you want to drill down you need to pay for it on top. Actually market samurai has nothing compared to seo powersuite, majestic seo but someone can prove me wrong, I actually find it quite weak. I don't know about IBP but i will probably buy to check it out, I'd like to see how nice their reporting is for clients. Another handy tool is link detox, it will check backlinks and help you find ones that could possibly be doing you more harm that good. You can't compare these tools to scrapebox etc, totally different.
