What are some of the best active SEO services on BHW? Please post only by your experience and not based on reviews you have read in a thread. I hope to compile a list of good services and post it here

PLEASE DO NOT post your service as the best SEO service. I know tempting but please don't do it.

I did and to be honest every SEO service thread has +ve reviews but I know for sure that many of these are not worth it. If you have had a truly positive experience with some service please share. Thanks. Dont just post to get your count up or signature links inserted.

Being worth the money is totally subjective. There are many services here that are very cheap and would be absolute shit as 1st tier, but may be great for 2nd/3rd tier or churn and burn. So whether or not you are happy with something completely depends on what you are trying to get out of it.

A lot of people who aren't happy with a service had unreal expectations for that service, or misunderstood it's intended use.

Most services with a long track record of good reviews should be fine.

As Illini said, many bad reviews come from people with unrealistic expectations ie "I paid $50, why am I not #1 for life insurance" etc.

Just pick one with good reviews based on your budget and use some common sense and you should be fine.

Also check to see how the provider deals with customers who are dissatisfied.

I agree with this sentiment entirely.

One service alone isn't going to do much good. Sorry, but that is the truth.

You have to know what you need for your particular situation and use BHW as a means to get the tools to accomplish the job.

I know people that run SEO companies that are on the INC 5000 list (they do 8-figures) who buy services here - they know what they need and piece together the components.

Think of SEO like building a house.

You can get everything you need at Home Depot - but you need to know what tools and supplies you need. BHW is your Home Depot - all the supplies and tools are here. Those that know how to build the house can get it done.

Now, if someone didn't know how to build a house they could hire a contractor to handle it all. It will cost a shit load more. But if you don't know how to build a house you don't have an option.

A large SEO company that is marketing and spending millions on advertising can charge $5k/month and they might only spend $500...they are like the building contractor. They know how to do the job.

Fuck, I don't even know if this makes sense as I intended it to...

Sorry, I don't entirely agree with this. There are some services that will increase traffic alone. Having said that, your second point is makes more sense. Using more than one service to achieve an end goal is the logical way to look at SEO.

But yes, this!

Agreed.

After burning my money on SEO services from here, I decided to do my own SEO

There was one time where i wanted to start a thread asking what you are asking, i stopped for a second and decided to search BHW for past threads asking the same thing, and read reply after reply........

End result: I was still non the wiser.

I opened this thread purely to read the replies..........im still non the wiser.

And this is after reading through nearly every BST there is on BHW concerning SEO services.

What i have learned though.........Basstrackerboats name comes up almost every time. Maybe you just found the service your looking for.?

+1 for BTB.

I have a small personal project in another month or two and decided I'd outsource to him, I've been trying to find services on BHW also for quite some time now, so I've been looking into a lot of threads/users who offer SEO. I followed a lot of his threads/posts and most of them are very helpful. I haven't actually used his services before, but from what it seems, he definitely knows what he's doing.

Plus, his pricing structure isn't very high, so that's a definite plus for me :)

If you do use a service here make sure you ask specific questions about it. Don't just ask is safe? Will google penalize me?

If you are thinking about purchasing Youtube views beforehand research Youtube views.
If you are having some web2.0s created research web2.0 and ask relevant questions, how many words per article, keyword density, do you link out to authority sites?

There are good services and very bad services that will get your site deindexed, research the subject, read the reviews and ask questions.

After use some of SEO Service. Decide to go "Content Marketing" (Infographic, Case Study, Real Guest Post (Not PBN), Some Press Release). I'll get some more relevant clicks & few conversions.

So, always I prefer togo "CM" & I like "Natural Backlinks" too.

Well said, as always.
The way I see it, reality of it is you can do more harm than good if you have no idea what you're doing, I've seen people try to piece together services and demolish their websites. Imho you have to be active and constantly testing to see what works where, and then find the most efficient way to implement new techniques into your methods. Then there's the opposite, people who focus heavily on off-page and neglect the on-page setup of their site. You'll see them over-optimize their site for their main keyword(s), then over-optimize their anchor profiles and get themselves immediately slapped with an algorithmic penalty. Some webmasters will keep dumping money and throwing links at their site, having no clue why they aren't popping up in the top 300, meanwhile some on-page adjustments will take them in top100 by simply getting the site recrawled. Blows my mind, but people have to learn.

Your post is accurate, nail on the head. To anyone shopping around, look into the sellers reputation and reviews to ensure you're making the right choice.

The best way to know that would be by actually trying some out yourself. Look for those that get plenty of good reviews.
