Best SEO evaluation tool?

Hey guys. This is my first post, so be gentle. =p

I've recently built an eCommerce site. I've heard that there are tools out there to evaluate how good of an SEO job I've done (probably a poor one, but I'm learning).

What's the best tool or resource that will evaluate my site? I'm hoping to create a to-do list for myself.

If there isn't such a tool, do SEO pro's do evaluations? I suppose I could hire one in the freelance section.

Woorank.com has a pretty good evaluation tool. You can use it once a week for free.

Do you mean the kind that analyze your site and show where you rank? Try http://www.seomoz.org They have some good tools. I think you have to pay to use some of them now but I think they have free trials.

there are many tools available some are free and some are paid but if you really want to improve your search engine appearance better than i suggest you have to hire someone because those tools are rarely updated with latest search engine algorithm changes..

There are loads. You can download seoquake's toolbar.. one of my favourites, it will show you the main SEO metrics of every site you go on, and you can get keyword density and seo reports with explanations on how to fix things that are not optimized!
