Hi bhw fam,

I have recently started to use reddit to bring free traffic to my site. The method I am using is I search the keyword for my niche on Google for example "top 10 books to read in 2024 reddit"

And then I comment on all top results something like "I use this site to find all the best books "url" thank me later"

I am quite new to reddit so is this a good strat or should I be doing it differently?

Share some of the methods you are using to promote on Reddit and maybe we can brainstorm some ideas together.

Thank you all in advance :)

This can be great, just ensure the comments are appearing to other users: try opening the post in a browser you're not logged in and check if you can see the comments.

When it comes to reddit the most important thing to keep in mind is not to sell anything directly.

Your method is the generic way most users and spammers use.

Try to use different accounts and don't just keep posting about your website.

Don't spam if you want to keep growing the traffic.

Keep engaging with as much BS you can to make your accounts look active.

If you want to take it to the next level use mother-child method.

Keep all your accounts footprints clean.

Best traffic method on Reddit is commenting if you do it correctly

I'm not a big reddit marketer, but I do know there are many free reddit methods available both on and off forum. If you really want to learn the ins and outs of the platform and the different ways people are marketing on there, I would encourage you to search for some of the ebooks written by others who have already mastered the platform. The best strategies, you probably won't find written publicly, but you can take what you learn from other methods and come up with an even better strategy of your own. Just a little food for thought. Good luck.

the best way to go is to try several approaches at a time and see which ones work better
sometimes tactics can produce different results, so you stick with the ones giving the best roi over the time invested

Can you please explain how to do it correctly?

Detect someone looking for/needing something you know where to find and give it to him. As long as interactions feel organic, you will have no problem

Yes, I did the same thing a while ago and got some traffic

Do you have expertise in reddit marketing? Looking for someone who has this type of expertise

Not an expert or guru. :p :D

Reddit is a just one of the many traffic sources for me that works in certain niches.

Focus on small communities, share your knowledge, and share links later. Infographics work wonderfully.

Exactly what I was gonna say. You nailed it perfectly. It can be quite annoying for other viewers on a subreddit if they open your profile and see that all you've been doing is pushing your product. So, try and contribute. It's organic but it takes loooong to grow. But its worth it in the end

Yes, it sounds good but use multiple accounts so you're not seen as a spammer, use aged accounts and upvote your comments so they stick to the top of the post. Also, don't be too direct, except if you wanna be roasted by redditors and/or your comment(s) will be deleted by the mods

overdoing your trick can get your account banned. Try to make different comments each time.

There's really 2 methods. Commenting and posting in threads that allow you to post. With comments you'd want to be on the nonchalant side. With posting, feel free to go all out, but make sure the community you're posting in allows you to. Otherwise, taking your chances on strict subreddits over and over will hurt your account.
