Best Raven Tools Alternative?

Not a huge fan of raven tools to begin with, but did like the reporting features for my clients.

Anyone have any other suggestions for raven tools after hearing that they are dumping their rank tracking?

Autoritylabs are pretty good and the service is really good.

They're updating the systems so you can send out email reports within the next couple of days
 
Use AuthorityLabs for Link Tracking and ahrefs for link analysis
 
An alternative isn't an alternative if it's as expensive for more expensive guys.

All the recommended platforms cost less than Raven. Regardless, some people can afford more expensive alternatives. What's your issue?
 
None of these allow you to pull multiple readings from several different geo locations though. Some may allow you to load your OWN proxies, but I have never found a rank checking tool that default allows you to check your rank at multiple cities... or better yet have a national average based on several locations.
 
I use Advanced Web Ranking and love it. I believe they have geo location rank checking, but to be honest, I haven't used it to date. Minus the cost of proxies and their latest cloud reporting (both optional), you can get the software very cheap or free for the 1st year.
 
I like authority labs UI, but that is shitload of money for a rank tracker and reporting. Are there other features I'm not aware of?

Well you have serpbuddy which I use for a back up but they don't offer email reporting but the results are normally pretty good.

Serpbook, seems to have a good name for itself but goes down or shows wrong positions. I've never used them myself but we have a few clients who do and moved from them.

Micro masters, again, great rank tracker but no email reporting. Unless they've changed recently

rank tracker from link assistant, this is a great tool but you need a machine(Vps), loads of proxies and its time consuming, we used this for quite sometime for our clients but it kept breaking so moved to raven. Rank tracker can handle up to about 30 tracked, anything over that will cause you a headache as it misses schedules and all sorts.

Serp fox is one that I've heard on the grapevine, supposed to be good but the last time I looked the results were a bit crappy but I haven't tried them in a few months. However, people are talking about them so maybe they've picked up the pace

with any rank tracker you're going to be paying $200pm upwards so you can track your clients properly.

If you set up your own tracker then it could be even more
 
Hi guys, I'm new here but I think that I have few things to say ;) What alternative? I've been in business for few years. Last year we started using colibritool. Very similar to Raven Tools and SeoMoz. Works pretty well ;)

I'm in a similar situation, looking for an alternative to raven.. have you tried Advanced Web Ranking? seems like you have tried a couple different trackers so thought id ask
 
Authority Labs is what we are using now. I also like Serpfox for my personal sites.
 
which plan do you use with Authority Labs? Do you feel its worth paying for switching from raven?

I havent but I do know that its good. What put me off is that is it's software, that means a server and proxies and I've been down that road already.

When you start to build up a client base you learn pretty quick that software is a pain in the ass when reports dont get uploaded or sent out, Proxies die, server crashes blah blah

For us, our time is better spent ranking sites, not to spend hours to config servers. Time is money and all that

ah i see.. i didnt go with rank tracker for the same reasons

Rank tracker is well worth the money for up to say 30 sites, then it becomes an issue, purely because of time. When you have the schedule running every few moments for clients, that means you can't add any more until its finished. Right pain in the ass but it is the best software on the market, in my opinion anyway. I still use it for spot checking clients and odd sites.


p.s I'm now with autority labs and so far so good, they really need to get the email reports up and running though and have the ability to rank different Googles within the same client folder. At the moment, if you have google .co.uk ang google.com it shows them as different clients.

does rank tracker only track seo or also social media? I track both which is why i was interested in looking into AWR but with the new info regarding AWR I would prefer rank tracker for SEO.. just need to find a solution for social media if rank tracker doesnt offer that

Define social media though? What to post? Manage? Watch? Stalk?

Buzzfeed is looking like its a good tool, thats from the same people as rank tracker as well
