Best public lists for proxies

Hey all.

I don't normally stray into the proxy forum so please be gentle with me

I am writing a PHP proxy auto harvesting / auto checking script but would like to know from you guys, the proxy gurus, what are the best free proxy lists (HTTP or SOCKS)

Being a bit stupid I thought a quick search in Google would bring a load up, unfortunately I didn't know how many or indeed how shitty some of the lists are!

So, any help appreciated.

personaly i use this to auto harvest - this tool has been around
longer than life as we no it - great little url leecher.
load url list press start - sit back - when done save list.



and for testing socks and http public for general purpose
this is no better tester than charon - its the best -
links ahh the money shot . u can get some free links of
fpl website get u up and running

my all time favorite this 1 load is 10 working public proxies u
no that work - like so ok 16 - as there http proxies i hit http
button and loaded them into the http box like sp



then hit search - then site search by http - this tool will then
google all 16 proxies - find every website there listed on and
draw all the free proxies of thoes sites into the tool like so


then u can transfer them to the proxie tester built in and test
either socks or http - i paid 20$ for this 5 yrs ago still hammers
google like a charm.
