Any recommendations for the best hosting for prosper202? I want something that I can pay monthly and relatively cheap.

    Thanks,

    Jon

You can use your normal host, you dont any special hosting for that... Any hosting company should be fine!

Create a subdomain and just install it there.. as easy as that.

I have prosper202 installed on hostgator, although it didn't go smooth on installation. Apparently you have to talk to hg support so they "whitelist" ??? your script. It took only a couple of minutes, since their support kicks ass, but still ... After that, so far so good.

2 bgallotte, you can't install prosper202 on a subdomain, tried that, it has to be installed in the root dir, found that out after reading their instructions.

    Although, it's worth it.

I installed prosper202 on a subdomain with hostgator and never had any issues. It works great.

I have also it installed on Hostgator.

You would want to go for some reliable host with maximum uptime, so that your links open and are tracked properly, and this was the reason i went with HG.

    Ough, I just noticed ... SUBDOMAIN ... lol. I've tried domain.com/prosper202
and I know this doesn't work, but didn't really try (or even think) of putting it on a subdomain, lol. :smashfrea

Yeah... For prosper202 you have to use either a domain or a subdomain... It will NOT work in a folder.
By the way I have it installed on a subdomain hosted at Dreamhost. Works perfectly.
