best programming language for bots?

I'm stumped on my current project using java, anyone have a more broad experience with building bot with the main stream languages?

I like Java & C++. Im trying to Learn That...
 
If you want web based Bot then Go with PHP

If want desktop based for Windows specially go for C# for sure ;)

Rest JAVA AND c++ are of cause good options but not much easy to implement as above as far i know .
 
If you are already familiar with java you might as well stick with it. there are good libraries out there that help (JSoup, Selenium, JSON simple, apache http client, etc.)

If you are new to programming, maybe Python would be the better choice, since it has many built in functions that make it very useful for scraping and writing bots.

I see that there is virtually almost no discussion of this program on Google other than by you, is that your program? Why do you recommend Botlang over the more well known similar programs? @OP im just getting started with AutoHotkey and seems very promising.
 
It's enterprise software, not something commoditized. Similarly, you won't find much discussion for say, IBM's CPPx (Concurrency Parallel Processing Frameworx)
 
You can also try Winautomation, although it's not a programming language you can pretty much click and select everything.
 
For web python and go are good. For windows c#.net and for mac objective c and for linux i don't know
 
C# is way to go you can also look for Ubot or Zenno if you are looking for small projects
 
Personally, I recommend Python. It is an easy language to learn. It is like Java but far less strict. Javascript (not Java) you can integrate with iMarcos. So you have a few options. It is good you have knowledge of one C based language already.

A programming language with virtually no documentation or footprints all over the internet. Now that's a ship I'd like to get into! :)

Nothing ever goes wrong with enterprise software :p
