Best program to record computer/laptop screen?

Im looking for a program which can basically record the laptop screen for lengthy periods. I've downloaded camstudio and after just 10 secs of recording, it has already used 200mb of memory.

Does anyone know of better alternatives? Of which won't use up that much memory in such a short space of time. And can ideally record for quite a few hours.

Try Camtasia, most likely you will like it

I find Camtasia to have the best quality but the video files are usually huge!
If you want the files to be smaller you can do it for a cost of quality.
200MB for 10sec of video is way too much! Try to search Google for Camstudio settings.

Have since got the mb per second right down. All sorted, thanks all!
