Hey gang! I'm looking for the best prog to use (and easiest) to capture a video from a sales site that I can "brand" with my affiliate link and upload to YouTube. Will Camtasia or CamStudio Pro do that, or is there something better. I want to capture the video with the best detail possible.

Thanks! ;)

I've always found Camtasia to work beautifully for making software reviews. Found it here at BHW too :)

i vote for camtasia too . Great tool for recording/editing videos.

I use camtasia, for my own screen captures but to record a video from a sales page I use So*think web vide downloader. Plugs in to Fire*fox neatly.

I cannot seem to get those flv. Ad*obe imbedded vids from some places. I would love to find software that records these streams, js imbedded ones. Does anyone have any suggestions.

As Comparco suggests if your just after an existing video on a site then use something like she suggested. I would also suggest you look at Orbit Down=loader you can find it at w**.orbi***tdown**loader.c0m

Brilliant tool for speeding up downloads but it also has what they call a Media Grabber. Pulls all the media files down from a page :-)

But if your after something more than just the vid then Yep would have to agree Cam=tasia is great program. If you do not want to risk the cracked download for some reason then check out the other product they have its in Beta right now and free its called The Jing project.
Can be found at http://w88w.jingproject.c0m/ great little tool PLUS they also provide free feed from screen cast dot com with it.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I figured Camtasia would do the trick, but I'm also gonna check out So*Think as I run FF with Tor for those "special needs" ( ) It sounds like what I'm looking for to capture the vid directly.

+reps given. ;)
