I'm looking for some tips for those who own their own private network of websites(similar to ALN/BMR). This would be referring to networks that promote a 'money site' for a specific niche....

- What kind of link building do you do?
- Do you always link build to the main domain and its posts/pages?
- Any services to recommend?
- Do you ever cross-link two properties?
- How many posts per property do you publish in a week?
- Any other tips for building links to each website?

any help is appreciated!

no one at all? how about anyone use wordai for their content?

I do social bookmarks and a bit of commenting for my networks. Some are interlinked when context is reasonably similar. Then I build tumblrs here and there. Links from images are great diversification.

thanks for the input guys. anyone else have some say?

hire a VA or someone specially for the domains.
ask them to build links on a regular basis to all the domains. diverse ur links as much as you can and build like 20-30 links per day per domain including dir, image, wiki, blog comment, edu gov, social bookmark, articles, pr, get links from other high pr blog networks.
Dnt knw if this is the best way to do.. bt IMO it works.

- I use a wide variety of link building, ranging from directory links, high PR blog comments, forum profiles, contextual links on other sites, etc.
- Both main domain and its posts. Probably about 50% of my links to go the main page
- I never cross link properties.
- I usually post a few posts with no links and then a few posts with website links. It makes it look more natural that way. I also post the occasional Youtube video or other random nonsense
- Diversity is the key. Note only should each site have a wide diversity in links, but I also try to make each site a little different, to reduce the footprint.

It's simple. Advertise as something different. Use your blog network as a secret sauce. NEVER OUT IT.

If you have a site that is pr 5+, then your never going to crap link it to high pr heaven or keep it there. Best thing to do in that case is to churn and burn your sites real fast or write legit content for the site. A good review of a small business can easily get you a backlink. Keep your network quality and your content even better and you will get clients lined up around the block. Try looking at serpgold for some inspiration.

The best way to build REAL PR is to buy links to your network. Buying links is risky for real businesses, but if you are trying to build PR to your network do it the old fashion way and buy backlinks. It's one of the easiest ways to build out PR.
