best POP3 reader for MASS accounts?

Could anyone reccomend me the best POP3 reader for managing mass email accounts (1k +) ? I only need to use each email very briefly to confirm a signup and then move on to the next one. Have Thunderbird right now but it doesn't seem so quick, there must be a POP3 reader somewhere that is designed for mass account checking
