Best platform for dedicated blogging?

In this instance SEO is not top priority but I want to know what platform gives best experience for the end users?

What looks slick etc?
I need to post a few articles a week for a small community and then recap with a weekly newsletter.

WordPress, Substack, Medium or something else?

WordPress, in my opinion. It's simple to use & manage content. Plus, if you ever need SEO guidance in the future, you have the Yoast SEO plugin to help you out.
