Best Places To Move ?

Hey everyone,
So I live in ireland for most of my life and to be honest im really starting to hate it now, the weather is mostly terrible all year round and there's not much to do.

So im thinking of starting a new life somewhere just selling everything I have , buying a one way ticket and hopefully living happy.

I've been looking into texas, the land there seems to be very cheap and has a lot of businesses coming in so more jobs, but at the same time I was looking into florida, thailand , france , spain , new zealand... anywhere that has decent weather and a nice place to live because im sick of this place

I think you should visit these places first for a month and see is it good for you because permanent moving is a big decision.

Thats true yeah, but i mean anywhere is better then here i live in hell...
I want to move into a nice area, my parents were stupid enough to buy a house in basically a ghetto

If you are living in Ireland the UK would be a great alternative. You could move to London, there are many jobs in different industries. Even the Internet Marketing Industry is there. Big Ad companies like Propeller Ads have their office in London. I wouldn't move to Texas at the moment. If Donald Trump would become president they would probably kick you out of the US for having red hair

Zoiba I agree that spain would probably be the best at the moment, for the US i was looking into florida or texas, they bought have cheap land , build a house so u dont have to pay rent or mortgage... and then again u can always move if you dont like it because ur not stuck with mortgage

I am surprised why is India not mentioned, you can live like a king if you have good money and also the nigh life in few select cities is amazing

I know what you mean, I live here too mostly. You should check out Thailand, and amazing country. nice people, great food, weather and beaches. Cheap and generally good internet. I spend 2 months there every year. Check it out.

Definitely move to Georgia! Small country in Europe
one of the easiest countries to start business, to live and have fun! This is definitely the most beautiful Country and also we have best dishes!

Forget UK too expensive and depressing.
Some people i know swear by Thailand or is just the ladies they are on about,forget for the minute.

New Zealand is great. Cost of goods is pretty pricey but the weather is amazing (especially on the North Island) and, unlike the EU, very low population and immigration. Also, no restrictions on foreign investment.

I'd say Dubai

USA: Florida should be dead last on your list. It just sucks. Miami's full of retirees, wages suck in Florida. Also, people aren't proud to be from Florida. They'd rather brag about being from New York. Florida has the worst quality of people. Just look at reddit.com/r/floridaman to get some insight into some of the people there. If there are that many bad apples in Florida, then there's definitely something wrong with the state.

Texas is ugly and humid but has a good economy though. Texas beats Florida all day.

Really though, choose between California, Seattle, or Phoenix Arizona. Arizona (phoenix in particular) compared to California is less crowded, more affordable, and has a decent economy. California is VERY expensive compared to the rest of the country. Do your research on these two. Arizona beats Texas with the better scenery/culture/people. Seattle is cheaper than California, has great scenery/weather, less crime, and has a better culture. I'd choose Seattle over any other area in the USA, but the weather in Seattle is often rainy/cloudy. It has a great tech scene though.

Avoid San Francisco. Cost of living is wayyyy too high. Huge homeless problem downtown. There is a good tech scene there, but it's still expensive as heck.

The best choice though is to move to Canada. Move to either Vancouver or Toronto, Canada. There is so much less crime in Canada than in the US, which is a big plus for me. The Vancouver downtown area is mostly very clean. The scenery with the mountains and water are breathtaking. However, Vancouver is expensive and is known for being harder to get jobs, so I'd only move there if you're balling already. Otherwise, choose Toronto. It's a little grittier than Vancouver, but has much more culture and more things to do than Vancouver, is more affordable, is easier to get jobs, but has suckier scenery.

What's with the North Island btw? I'm going to stay for a while in NZ but couldn't decide whether I should pick South or North Island.

The North Island has great beaches and surfing as well as NZ's two largest cities: Auckland and Wellington. However, in terms of natural beauty, there is more to do and visit on the South Island. If you are going to NZ you REALLY NEED to spend time on both islands.
