Best place you've ever been to?

You're just looking at media or you read really wrong sources. You know nothing about him. If you knew, you'd know that he's one of the best and most intelligent leaders in the world.

I didn't say he was stupid, I said his policies lead to the genocide of 1.5 million people. No one said Adolf Hitler was a stupid leader either. He also killed a few million people like your pal but hey, as long as he 's your hero, why would you care, right?

Also, I believe that Armenian Holocaust is a big lie, there are thousands of arguments on that subject. Do you have a real proof? If yes, show me then.

Yeah, yeah, I 'm sure what really happened is they all committed suicide after Panda 4 dropped their sites' ranks.

On a more serious note, here 's the European Parliament 's most recent recognition document: http://www.armenian-genocide.org/Affirmation.341/current_category.7/affirmation_detail.html

As for the US:
United States' several official documents describe the events as "genocide", President Ronald Reagan also described the events as "genocide" in his speech on April 22, 1981. Also, 43 of the 50 U.S. states have made individual proclamations recognizing the events of 1915 to 1923 as genocide. As of March 4, 2010, the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs has recognized the massacres of 1915 as "genocide".

And Obama?
2008: I shared with Secretary Rice my firmly held conviction that the Armenian Genocide is not an allegation, a personal opinion, or a point of view, but rather a widely documented fact supported by an overwhelming body of historical evidence. The facts are undeniable.

2010: I have consistently stated my own view of what occurred in 1915, and my view of that history has not changed

The Armenian Holocaust is the second most studied genocide in the world. Tons and tons and tons of evidence. See, 1.5 million people don't just go poof without evidence.

Ataturk was defending the western borders during those few years when the genocide happended. He didnt have direct involvement of what happend, however being aware of what took places and opposing it is a different matter.

The ones to blame were mainly the corrupted ottoman government. Im not saying Ataturk was a saint but he did stop invading forces and unify turkey. As for the genocide Turkey should apoligise for what happened. But same way Israel should apoligise for stealing palestinian lands and killing millions and US for invading Iraq when there was no imaginery weapons.

This topic is very controversial and sensitive. A simple sorry is too hard for secular turks. Believe me i have family members who act as if Ataturk was God. He was a great leader for turkey, but even he had flaws.

Tokyo is hard to beat - but honestly living somewhere depends on your budget - because you can't just stay home all the time - you got to get out and enjoy it.

Singapore is also good - because nice restaurants / clean and modern - and easy to travel to other parts of Asia - but expensive.

Islands seem nice - but get boring after 2-3 months and again get expensive because everything is imported.

Ideal scenario -- live in Singapore for 6 months a year - and 6 months elsewhere.

I just hope you know Ataturk's history better than the history of Israeli-Palestinian conflict. :)

Total number of Palestinians killed 7978, total number of Israelis killed 1503: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli-Palestinian_conflict#Fatalities_1948.E2.80.932011
