Title says it all. I'm trying to check out the mobile market using Admob (mods please move this to PPC area if necessary). I made my own Android app and I'm wanting to get it out to the masses without paying the $25 reg fee for Google Play. Any ideas or info?

Just go to fiverr and find a person who will post your app for $5

Local directories in regions compatible with your application, fliers inside restaurants or other forms of businesses, advertising inside menus or t-shirt promotions with your logo on them.

I'm about to release my first android game and I'm trying to come up with a strategy for promoting a landing page, amazon listing and google play listing.

I think getting good reviews is key. Need to start a network of developers to cross rate/comment each other's stuff.

I'm doing kids games so not using ads, going paid, may someday go with in app purchases to prevent torrenting, which google play handles IAP easily with their API. The problem with IAP in kids games as you get infuriated parents who get pissed about charges. You have to set it up so the parent has to do the purchase, not the kid, google will reverse payments to you from pissed off parents who say they didn't make the purchase(where the minor kid did).
