So, I tried g00gle, and get bombarded with different results.

So I figured I would ask my BHW family to see if anybody knows the best way to go about getting Excel. I'm not looking to download it illegal or anything like that.

And maybe someone would know of site, and a coupon code. Not that I need a discount, but why pay more than I have too.

From what I can find it is just as cheap to get the MS Office package, as opposed to just getting Excel.

The whole reason I need to finally break down and get Excel is I have some reports that are too large in size to open in Google Drive Spreadsheets, or OneDrive. I've tried other online spreadsheets viewers, and download free software to view excel spreadsheets, but none work with larger size files.

    Any help?

You can try OpenOffice, it's a suite similar to Microsoft Office, and it is free.

If you still prefer Microsoft Office, just buy it in the Microsoft official site:
    hxxxs://products.office.com/business/get-latest-office-365-for-your-business-with-2016 (change hxxs for https)

I migrated to Ubuntu a few months ago from Windows, and I would seriously recommend giving Open Office or Libre Office a try. They're free, they're pretty similar to MS Office, and I'm pretty sure you can install either one in Windows if you don't feel like changing your whole OS.

What can I say, I love free stuff.
