Hey guys,

I hope i posted this in a correct section.

Anyways what is the best place to buy virtual dedicated servers? I mean the ones that would not blacklisted in Google with their IP!

I will be using one to open a new adwords account.

So any suggestion on this? I just need to make sure what I buy will be clean!

If your simply going to be using one to buy a adwords account, why don't you just use a VPN? Which is similar to a proxy, but much more secure. Infact, there is no point in buying a dedicated server, you could just use a VPS, which is similar to a dedicated server, but it's ran on a dedicated server, with other VPS, it stands for virtual private server, you can get one for $18.00/per month from http://www.VPSLand.com - If you use Google, you can get 50% of the first month. :)

We started renting a server from Hetzner recently, their prices are fantastic and they're in Germany - and it's always good to have a server in a different country to your own. The speed is fantastic, and I'm mostly really happy (one downside being backup only via ftp).

If you're just using it to signup for a new adsense account though I'm not sure a virtual dedicated server is actually what you need. A VPS is probably more suited, and far cheaper. I've had bad experiences with every vps provider I've ever used though, so can't help there. Or if you're really only using it just to signup for a single adsense account then have you considered going to your local library and using their wifi?

Edited to add: we're only using Hetzner for whitehat stuff, I don't know how they'd react to blackhat stuff.

I want to be really safe on this one. I was suspended from adwords before and it is a better idea to appear as a fresh computer. Simply tired of risking it again. That's why I am looking for VDS specifically.

Alex, any opinions on whether Godaddy's ones are clean?

Thanks for the advice.

I need this for many more purposes other than adwords. Adwords is just first on the list right now.

So no blacklisted IP's or any crap like that in Hetzner?

I have to make sure as I havent bought one before!

I've just signed up with WiredTree - they look pretty clean and sharp. Very professional company. Well worth looking into.

As I say, I'm only using this server for whitehat stuff. And as the previous posters have agreed, you might not need anything as powerful as the dedicated servers Hetzner provide if all you want is to run a proxy. And if you want to run a proxy, then it might be wise to keep it away from other stuff you're doing to keep it cleaner for longer.

That said, Hetzner seem a pretty professional company are cheap and I've been happy with them so far. I've just created a Google account using my server as a proxy, but that probably isn't enough to say you're not going to get a blacklisted ip - we appear to be still getting a small amount of traffic from the previous owner of the server's main ip address.

There's a BHW member who usually posts a lot in the Proxies area of the forum. Name's Debian and he has VPS in both Europe and US. Seemed good, and if I were thinking of getting another VPS, I'd probably use him. Especially if I didn't want things located on US 'soil'.

I'm basing this on the answers to his questions, his reputation both here and elsewhere, and the info on his website. Prices are good too.

FWIW, I've gone through most of the major players in the US over the last 10 years (before there was the thing called Virtual Server) and now use a small company called Known Host. Their prices include fully managed VPS.

Anyone tried Wrzvps or Lease vps. I heard good thinks about them.
Any suggestions will be appreciated :)

I always look in the support forum for any host or other company to see what's ACTUALLY being talked about. If it's not open, ask for a guest password (email the sales department; tech won't let you in).

Very good VPS for -advanced- PC users is http://www.slicehost.com -- they aren't for beginners though. Be knowledgeable about navigating your way around linux and installing your own software. The upside is, you're not stuck with Apache. You can use Apache2, Lighttpd, use a daemon-based caching agent, etc. etc. blah blah blah. They do NOT offer CPanel or any of that -garbage-!

If you're just the run-of-the-mill kind of guy, anything but godaddy should work :).

Hi there, I would suggest DATACLUB for http://www.dataclub.biz they are accepting Liberty Reserve and are the best and are located in Europe, Also the prices they got are very cheap

I think you meant VPN nor VPS !
you can go with Hidemyass or ExpressVPN !
