boygj.com is a good place.. not the freshest, but a variety of themes.

I have used their theme for my blogger blog, they are pretty good with explanation of how to install the theme.

I myself use the templates they offer on the Wordpress website hahaa. Not the default ones, the ones that were approved by Wordpress.

If you are downloading warez themes, you better check all the code for encoded links which lead to malicious websites and be sure to remove the version code in your function/header.php files.

That way you will be safe.

There are so many nice FREE themes out there, why would anyone risk the chance to have a hacked theme... Thats just my opinion.

I agree with xplicit. I feel if you are not ready to buy templates, go with free once.
