What's the best ping service?

Is it worth paying for a good ping service, or just using the free ones?

I have a ton of URL's I'd like to get noticed, is this the right way?

There are alot of free services out there, but you may want to pay for a service because they will normally keep their list up to date.

Who's had experience with whom, which one is better, etc...

Okay, so I didn't want to be the first person to post it but pinging services are pure 100% bullshit. They don't do a thing. It's a big lie. Pure hype, all crap, does nothing, waste of money, 100% pure scam, anyone that says otherwise is lying, stupid or both.

And now, we return you to your regularly scheduled program....
 
I used free ping service and it was really perfect for me ..
BUT : your URLs must be unique ! NO C&P ! even if you do C&P try to make those things look unique :)
C&P = Copy & Paste :)

Just keep in mind that if you ping all of your backlinks, or use RSS feeds, you are leaving a large footprint behind.

Can you elaborate on this?

What I was thinking to do, is ping the major categories on my site.
My site has a "TON" of pages, so indexing it naturally will take forever.

See on the PING, I'm not sure if its BS.
That's why I'd like to hear everyone's input. I did ping some of my pages, and seen my indexing go up within a few days. So I'm not sure if it was just natural indexing that was done, or if it did help.

There's also a free plan.
 
Bulkping and pingfarm. They are the best when it comes to pinging.
 
I guess I'll need help with this, I don't subscribe to any of these.
