Best payment process that allows transfers.

I'm building a sort of membership site, which will have monthly payments coming in. The easiest way would probably be paypal, but I plan to flip the site in the future and obviously you can't transfer subscriptions over to another account. So what would the best plan be? The processor would need to be compatible with WHMCS.

I would recommend consulting different payment gateway providers for this before making a final decision.

This. But good luck, I don't think anyone lets you automatically transfer a subscription payment to someone Else's account with a different name. Most of the time you collect info and have a mailing list or similar contact method and when you transfer you cancel their subscriptions and ask them to resubscribe via the new person, you can also add incentives and make sure to add it onto your site itself so when someone logs in they know "in xx days your subscription will be invalid and you will have to re-subscribe due to new ownership".

If you ask around and find a processor that will just push around though please share as I'm sure a lot of people would like an easier and less overt way of doing this.

Thanks to others, I assumed there might be some more elegant way of doing it. Will post again if I do find a reputable company offering this sort of feature.

Hi Ben - I didn't receive your reply above so only just found it. Tp have asked us to pay for membership for their service and supply them with contact details for 200 of our best ustomers so they can canvass them for their opinion about Nochex. However, we don't give our customers details away to third parties and so the type of person that TP attracts to review our service tends to be the most disaffected, hence our low reputation on the highly reputable Tp, and which tends to be at odds with what our real customers say. Of course, if you value the opinion of people whose goodwill needs to be bought then Tp is a good place to go to for "unbiased" advice. To us it is more important to be valued by our real customers. I guess thats the big problem in flipping subscription sites...

what subscription site you have? If it has good revenue why you want to sell? I would never sell a site if it is generating any sort of revenue.
