I contacted a local skate shop that had an online shop teling them that i can help them rank the site better.
What i did was setup an adwords campaign with a 100$ vochure
Social bookmark it, RSS submit and put meta tags on the site.
For this i got skate gear worth 230$ and this is just the first payment.
All the things i did only took a couple of hours because social bookmarking, pinging and RSS submit are all automated.
I am so glad this happened! :6:

It does matter. I'm sure they'll stop sending payment if they see no change in traffic.

he could theoretically, keep buying vouchers worth say 50-100 every month or HELL just deposit $50 into an adwords acc every month, send a lil traffic and pocket the rest... if they want extra services he can increase the fee....

He could have shot himself in the foot tho if the client checks his/her stats and he sent all the traffic from adwords right away.. thus depleting the adwords acc in less than a month and having a client to expects that same level of traffic constantly...

That way he could even learn how to become an adwords big-shot with that practice account. Now if they are asking for conversions then thats a different matter but I strongly believe that is not the case here..

You guys posted a good question. They did get traffic from the social bookmarking and google campaign.
I know they wont get long term traffic for this, for that I plan on building backlinks, geo targheted and worldwide. Next I am going to take care of the meta tags and some keyword density.

U bet there is :) But u need to tweak lots of shnizzle, u need to get a way to track your keywords according to the referrer url, u need to split test, design simple and to the point landing pages, do A LOT of keyword grouping, filtering, quality score and lastly keyword replacement but with several practice accs every month u can get good at it :)

5000$ is a lot of money, I would be in the 9th heaven if I will make that kind of money soon let alone spend it one a seminar. I would really like to hear that you got your money back out of this!
