Hi guys,
I hope this is the right place to ask my question.
I've had a blog on my city (tourist destination) for some months now, my articles have general info, describe the attractions, there are news, etc., and using exclusively white hat techniques I have close to 100 visits/day. It's is slowly but steadily growing, and I planned to monetize this traffic as an affiliate of big companies selling hotels, tours, plane tickets, etc.

Now the question is: should I start new micro-niche websites, one for each of these services, or should everything be included in my blog? In other words, is it better to use my blog as a mean to drive traffic to my money sites or keep everything in one basket? A friend, more expert than me, suggested to split in more websites, but it looks to me like a waste of resources (domain name, hosting) and also a way to force people to click more times to reach my money pages.

Maybe both alternatives are good, I don't know. Consider this is a long term project, I'm not in search for fast and easy money.

i think you shouldn't create more sites considering your traffic.. assuming ctr to ads is 1% you would get one user to your micro site.

Stick to one site and growing more targeted traffic everyday,
and begin to monetize it with affiliate offers and Google Adsense.
It is a wise thing that you are considering this long term,
most people want results fast and give up easily when they don't get it.

Even if it's 1 egg in one big basket, since you started it and it's steadily growing successfully, I'll keep implementing everything
in just that single website with CPA offers/affiliate offers in your particular industry. Comparing it this way, just
because I meet another great woman doesn't mean I'll leave the one that has loved me for years. Don't dump
or diminish the love for what works to entertain something new, keep at it and continue to grow it little by little and then decide
once you reach total momentum. My view of seeing it.

Only do one site for now. See how far that gets you and then consider maybe adding another.

I'd stay focused for now, but diversify when you start getting some momentum.

Keep the site you have , improve that site to attract more punters.

Keep all the services in one site don't split that mate.

Dont split anything for now.. Keep everything on one website and make your site a authority in this niche. Once you are settled as Authority you will soon get more traffic and you will grow eventually ;)

I plan to do the same (not travel site though) but I would not suggest to break up the traffic. Monetize with affiliates and adsesne for now and then branch out or split later if you have to.

Try out your plan with 1 site for now and when you see good much of success with it, replicate the same plan with as much as sites you can.

Keep everything under one roof for now, expand as you get traffic. You don't have enough traffic to scatter everything right now, but once you have enough traffic, you can start splitting services to new websites one at a time, while promoting them in your main website.

I'd stick with working on your main site for now. Once you're getting more traffic you may find a sub niche that you want to branch out into with another smaller site. Get your main site up and profitable first though.

You don't need to split into different sites because you are doing white hat?

Then you do blackhat on lower teir and drive that traffic to your "white hat authority site".
