I want to establish an offshore bank account, whats the best country and bank that you'd setup an offshore account in? Do you think offshore is the way to go right now?

you can always use g00gle :P .. no offence...

anyway... there u go:
Code:

I recommend you talk to HSBC, they are the biggest bank atm and they specialise in this

Alright, I'll check into all these resources. Thanks ;)

ye try researching on these...panama,swiss,singapore (high returns), Cayman Islands (need to be incorporated)

the Cayman islands are not really offshore any more. This days I would recommend, in order, Panama, Belize, Guatemala, St Kitty's & Nevis.

Anywhere in Central America(Countries below Mexico) is fantastic. With Swiss accounts it is a good idea if you fly over there and open with a local bank.

The big swiss banks are targeted by US govt and all the other motherfuckers.

Offshore banking is very important from my point of view as holding any funds in America is kind of like having the governments know every penny that you make. LOL Very Private isn't it?

Watch till all US and Canada banks will get centralized or even most of the accounts get closed for people "due to the recession". Fucking hate the governments.

Swiss is the perfect country, and also the safest,
are you sure to put your money in a Panama bank?
20 years ago the US gov just keep all money in them.

swiss is safest, but
swiss bank don't want to have problems for this staff,
if you live close to swiss they can do something,
but they ask you what are you doing, how much money you put, how many bank transfer arrives in one month, ect.
they say that if they see or hear some investigations from your country they calling you to close the bank account.
so I think the better thing is to open an SA in Swiss, a coorporation,
8% of taxes, totally anonymuos, SA is used for prefessional dropshipper,
I mean for business man that buy material outside swiss and sell it outside swiss.

I live close to swiss, maybe I will open one, if is not expensive.

UK is the most used now, because is cheap to open,
but after last BIG20 meeting, they decide to "open the doors" to other countries,
so, maybe a UK coorporation will be hard to keep in few years.

It depends on what you want to do with your Bank Account and where you are from. As a US-Citizen i would stay away from Swiss Banks, because one of the greatest Swiss Banks (UBS) already have given away customers to the US Government.

And many Banks need now various Documents to conform to the "Know your Customer" Rules. There are still possibilities to get an Account. Do a Search on Google, but check the Company you want to do Business with. There are many Scammers and Black Sheep's in this Business.

But my advice is to incorporate Offshore and open a Business Account. Panama, Belize, Hongkong are good and secure. Depends on what Business you are in.

Seychelles in Africa. can open an IBC or offshore private bank account for 350$

Opening a Swiss private bank account is easy if you have the money to open it,
Switzerland is by far not the best offshore banking destination anymore, only if you have 100.000$ or more.

Seychelles and Panama are better for smaller amounts of money

why cayman is not offshore anymore?? are u sure panama is safe and how to open one?

Avoid any country prone to civil war, revolutions, has a dictatory, or that radically changes leadership frequently. These countries have a history of just coming in and taking over banks and turning them into their personal accounts. Just watch Blow.

Also, do not use foreign banks with branches in the U.S. if you do not want the U.S. meddling in things. It is not perfect, but it helps.

Stay away from Belize who is in the US's pockets ever since they got lumped into the blacklist as being rogue by the US. Just because English is widely spoken and tons of people/companies can incorporate and set you up with bank accounts at minimal costs doesn't mean the country is a good choice. I know this from painful personal experience.

can you please tell me more about this or provide links on how I can get started. What does SA mean?

Thanks for your time

Basically they're going to get you wherever you keep it eventually.
Buy gold and bury it in your garden. It's tangable and survives wars.
