Defacing money is illegal. Doubt the gov't bothers much with prosecuting for this, but you never know when they might want to make an example out of someone

Get a bunch of well designed stickers. Put them up everywhere you can but also leave some at random places for people to pick up.

Highly illegal in most countries plus do you actually look at your bills? They stay in my pocket until I hand it over to pay for something. I’d say the vast majority of people don’t look and if they do it’s when they’re transferring it to someone else. That thought will be long forgotten before they decide to go to a random URL from a bill.
