best mic for making videos

    what's the best and most practical mic that's good enough to make videos.

    I'm looking for a mic that's anti-echo, noise cancelling but not super expensive. I don't mind investing but i don't want to get an impractical one too.

    I think he means sitting at his computer.

    I just had a chat with a friend of mine that makes videos he uses this one:-

    OLYMPUS ME-52W MIC NOISE CANCELLING

    It cost him about £16 say about $25

    He uses it on his computer with an extension lead and uses it on a camera when he is outdoors too.

    I've been super happy with the Blue Snowball microphone (~$65 on amazon). They also have one called the Yeti (~$100) that is very good.

    One of those should fit your needs perfectly.
