I've been talking to a friend about this and they referred me here regarding my CCTV business - They also told me to purchase back links but i'm afraid that it may in fact de-rank my website overtime if Google finds out that they aren't completely white hat.

If i simply search the actual name of the site it appears in the 2nd or 3rd page. When searching keywords like '8CH 720P system' the site will definitely not show at all. It's probably the 200th result. It's also exclusively Australian and has the relevant domain ending.

Things i have tried so far:
- 4-5 long informative and helpful blog posts
- I made a few accounts on CCTV forum website with my link in the signature and name as the company "******** Security" (not sure if i'm allowed to say the company name on here).
- I've put links on my other website to the new exclusive CCTV one.
- I've made a Facebook account and am getting a graphic designer to make the cover photo etc. from then i will do some FB marketing tactics.

With my other website, i actually spent around $250 on back links around a year ago from Fiv err. It did hardly anything to the website and was a waste of money..

If anyone can point me in the right direction or recommend me to some reliable and genuine link-building services on here it would be greatly appreciated. I was looking at the 'BHW SEO - Link building' section in 'The Marketplace' but not sure if this would be suited for the site.

P.s: For some reason it was quite hard for me to post this thread because BHW kept censoring everything so if i left out some important info i am sorry.

Firstly forget Fiverr!

For any bricks and mortar business the safest links/service to start wit,h are citations and press releases.

A few press releases a month and country based citations are great for branding a business, and lifting it's rankings.

Look in the market place, there a several good services. Search "branding, citations & press release"

Build PBNs until it gets on the first page. Social signals as well. This is the best method.

Really? I can't post links on here for some reason but i found a recent article saying this "Google has reportedly taken action on sites participating in private blog networks, also known as PBNs. On September 18th, Google sent out widespread manual action notices via Google Webmaster Tools to these sites for ?thin content? spam."

Okay, thanks for your reply. So you don't think link packages of PR3's are good? Everything in 'SEO - Link building' seems to pull a lot of attention.

PBN with good TF and DF sites will helps you to rank...

Tier-link building strategies do work but it's a matter whether you know how to use it and dominate your competitors.

An alternative is to hide from robot crawlers while performing seo & pbn structure.

Peace,
VXS

Hey Zendle,

I recommend coming to this forum and just reading for 15 minutes everyday. After a couple of months, things will start making sense. Also, maybe set up some websites to do experiments with. SEO takes time to learn.

Social Media Channels and Manual Blog Posts by creating your own blog websites

I think that the combination of all methods is the method that gives the first rank to your page or site in a short time. It's a hard working thing but it's the option for efficient results.

Try to make use of blog posts, guest posting and PBN links.. Quality contextual links is the latest way of attaining top rankings..

I've done it for my wife's fashion business (brand) by launching all possible social media accounts for the brand and posting regularly on each and every one of them consistently for a few weeks. Social media sites have much stronger online presence and boost your website's ranks if you manage them simultaneously with your website
