I don't know how other professionals do it, but for me, just an amateur, I use GTM combined with GA4 and I build all my data reports using Looker Studio.

I am using Smit to control a large number of my accounts. You can try it. Here in addition to advertising accounts you can control BM accounts as well.
 
Meta Ad Library and some third-party analytics dashboards I’ll connect to, but mostly for inspiration and to track trends. Tracking tools often have their own data gaps, so I look for tools that focus on transparency rather than automation.
 
As you know, each application has its own advantages. Depending on the purpose of the user, there will be a suitable application. Do you want to track data in general or specifically on a specific issue such as: tracking revenue/ user information/ campaign performance/ reporting/ ...?

I feel the same way. The Ad Library is quite limited, and third party tools often provide a broader perspective on creatives and implementations. However, real world performance still depends on internal testing and metrics.
 
I often combine multiple data sources to get more insights, rather than relying on a single tracking tool. This works because Meta itself provides most of the metrics and detailed data I need; therefore, I only need to use Meta for tracking and monitoring purposes.
