you can do this with joomla, you can toggle what registered users can and cant see
additionally there are plugins that can create additional levels of users other than registered and non registered...

what exactly are you trying to achieve with your membership site? whats your budget?
if your budget is next to non, pay for hosting and go with joomla and follow the examples on this and other threads about membership sites with joomla
i have a number of sites for clients with 5000+ members so joomla works for me

SYCRO, Joomla and aMember integrate well. Makes for a nice platform.

Has anyone been successful in getting this script to work? I keep getting a 500 internal server error over and over again and I can't figure it out.

this is a cheap script thats probably why it wont work correctly
"you get what you pay for" and unfortunately it was free so go figure
I have a script I have modified a little but it still hase a few bugs in it. I am willing to share it but first I would like someone to fix the bugs,
it is a php membership script and probably the best one you can get for less then $100. If someone wants to tackle it I got a list of bugs that need to be fixed there's 5 of them. I already have it hosted where we can use it for testing and I have a test password set up due to I had another programmer working on it.
PM me if your interested in fixing the bugs then we can share it here and have an awesome script for everyone:tee:

for some reason when I try to go to

My Memebership site Joomla, Jomsocial, JUGA and AEC
Best thing would be going for ambra component does the work of both juga and AEC
Using Paypal Gateway 80 Subscribtions no problem so far working like a charm..No worry of joomla being unsecure I have 30 sites on it only one got a security issues that too not because of the core because of jumi a component that works like exec-php for wordpress

I'm not sure if you can consider it the "best" membership site script, but for something fairly simple that can offer "drip feed" content, you may want to consider Wordpress Micro Membership Plugin...
