I didnt see anyone say this, I was going to say DAP as well. I will be purchasing this probably this week for a new membership site.

DAP is great if you dont want to or have time to actually create all the HTML pages in the backend, etc. It just plugs in with wordpress. pretty sweet.

I've made membership sites w/ drupal and modules: uc_recurring, ubercart. If you dont want to use ubercart, you could try this: http://www.moneyscripts.net/. I havent tried that myself, but it looks decent.

I use Drupal and Moneyscripts, his other modules rock too. The developer provides great support on his forums and his modules are inexpensive with free updates. Drupal is just fkn awesome.

I have experience with DAP and Wishlist. DAP has better features, plus it has the ability to integrate with vBulletin, which is great for me since I like to run forums within my membership sites. (And I strongly prefer vBulletin)

I haven't heard anything about S2Member in this entire thread unless I missed during my quick scan. I know there's an s2member and an s2member pro and the s2member is meticulously documented with video. Is there a reason nobody uses it?

just been looking to set up another member site, and I wanted something quite slick, with loads of features, that uses paypal web payments pro (keeps the buyer on the site) plenty of affiliate tools and plugs into wordpress the best one I can find and the one I have ended up going for is DAP. Got to say Im quite impressed. $167 to buy, but they do a fully installed and set up version for you for $497. I know its a bit steep, but you get everything done for you. Not bad if you ask me.

Check out DigitalAccessPass (DAP). Works like a charm with OptimizePress (OP).
