Hello! I know that it is already unanimous that some time ago medium already lost its glory as a parasite, so it is not useful to rank posts in google and index them.

I know there are many threads about parasites, however, in practice I feel that most of them, as they are profile links or things like that, do not optimize so adequately, along with the fact that many times they end up being recommended.

I would like to know if there are currently any sites with great authority, as medium was at the time, that one can publish for free and that effectively index the posts that are made.

so what we do

Look for niche specific forums and community sites.
Reddit, quora, Pinterest & the evergreen parasite that always works Youtube.

Linkedin is the best alternative interms of ranking, I haven't seen a substack article ranking, but I see plenty of linkedin articles ranking almost everyday.

I have never understood how you can use quora and reddit to rank. Do I literally create a question or content with the keyword I want to rank for and then add the content to it?

I myself have used Linkedin and I see that it works well. My only concern is that if you put links to CPA or Affiliate marketing offers, they tend to get articles out quickly, or have you seen a way to prevent it from happening?

You wanna link linkedin post to your site or landing page.
You can also create a studio or agency website.
Create a linkedin page and post articles linking back to you site.
But every hop will loose some traffic compared to direct linking to cpa or affiliate offer.

Target a valid PAA or low comp topic (mostly longtail) topically related to the niche.

When I have no followers but a quora space and do "blogging" on it daily, will that content rank good in google to get free seo traffic?
