Being able to market a product is the whole point of IM and is generally something that me and other noobs have no idea where to start.

I know there's a metric ton of information online (and on here), but what are the most valuable resources you've found to writing persuasive sales pages etc?

ie. If you had to go back in time and show your past self what you reckon are the most effective pieces of information with copywriting, what would they be?

Thanks

Please look for "Lecture 1 PROMO copywriting secrets from the master " by GoPro World on youtube ;) Amazing

Honestly I don't type in "Learning to internet Market" in search engines because they're all mostly either landing pages, or websites that are designed to generate traffic and sell a book.

I honestly learned from just lurking here, a few other places, and giving it a try myself to see if I could do a halfway decent job, and from following advice and critique from other writers.

The best free resource I found for basic copywriting skills http://alldaycreative.co.uk/free-copywriting-ebook/
That book is absolute gold.

I also recommend reading Pitch Anything by Oren Klaff. It's the definitive book for story telling and sales, which copywriting is merely the written version of.

If you have the cash you can have a look at:

  1. Ca$hvertising
  2. Simple Writing System (John Carlton)
  3. Most things by the AWAI
  4. Tested Advertising Methods
  5. Scientific Advertising

I learned basic stuff from Michael Cheney and Ben Adkins, also inside mfa live event notes there is a chapter about Agora and how do they do copywriting.
All of this stuff is not free, but I found them for free.
