Best manual backup for a website

I have tried every backup plugin under the sun and have settled with updraft plus migration plugin. I Pay like 40 bucks a year and get peace of mind.

If you want manual backup solution then All in One WP Migration is the perfect solution. I regularly take my sites backups with it.
But you have to be very careful to store the backups in multiple locations - one copy in HDD, one copy in your Laptop and another copy in your Desktop. Its a bit of hassle, but if you want a free solution, you have to do it.

+1 and also delete the all In one copies from the plugin because it takes space, and does not need to be there if it’s downloaded already.

I have Updraft Plus on the side that I still do backup once a month or so as a 2nd tier backup.

How can i do that?
im looking for something good but free at the moment..
So i just need to export to file and that file i need to copy in 3 different places, right? how often do you do this?
You mean all the previous backups if i'm not mistaken? and how often do you do this?

Thank you one more thing if you don't mind. I have UpdraftPlus - Backup/Restore installed what are your thought on that i should remove it and use All-in-One WP Migration?

Good question.
So you have to look at two important factors here - Cost and Hassle.
Updraftplus costs $70 for two sites if you choose their personal plan. If you choose higher plan then the cost will be even more. They have annual renewal means every year you have to spend money. But it will remove a lot of hassle from your head. You can sleep peacefully at night.
All in One WP Migration is a FREE plugin if you want to take backups of unlimited sites. However if you want to restore the backup taken, then you have to use their premium version that comes at $69 for unlimited sites. But you will have to take care of the backed up data on your own. If you lose the HDD or laptop gets damaged, then you will lose the data. So a bit of hassle is involved.
So the final call is yours.
By any chance, for me, the all in one wp migration plugin is the winner because even if it involves some work at my end, I can use it on as many sites I want for the cost almost same as updraftplus.
