Check with powersurge.net I know they are launching a new dedicated managed wordpress server.

Or we can manage your wordpress site. Right now we are putting wordpress sites on the same shared server but plan on Moving to having a dedicated wordpress server.

I'd stay away from both of those.

Also you don't need managed wordpress, shared will do fine. The managed wordpress crap is almost 100% a scam.

It depends on your budget. But I'm use A2 Hosting and still fine for now. It provides a great speed for Wordpress. They always offering 51% off for the first bill, so you only need to pay starting from $65 for the first year.

Yeah. It usually depends on your budget. I have tried Goddady and Hostgator for the WordPress sites I managed.

iPage is the best webhost. After this, Hostgator and BlueHost are good.
There are providing good services than other web hosts.

I'd recommend you to use services from hostingsource.com and ifastnet.com, they provide Wordpress-friendly services with high uptime and quality support.

You should give more information regarding what you need the shared hosting for? If is for some kind of spam blog/site that you don't care about , go with hostgator.
If you are planing to run serious website and need uptime , speed with ddos protection and high privacy protection with SSD storage then take a look on https://www.cyberhour.com/shared-hosting .

It all depend on what you will use it for :)
