Hi,

Looking into Luminati "pay as you go" plan and am hearing conflicting info on the best proxy type for my use case.

Their support recommends exclusive rotating residential proxy, which sounds counterintuitive to me, doesn't it seems suspicious if the IP keeps switching every minute?

I lean more towards exclusive static residential, but their support tells me they look more suspicious as they recognize their fingerprint and sees that they are ISP IPs?

What about the exclusive mobile proxy option? Apparently they don't only have 4G proxies but some are 3G, but not sure if that's an issue.

Can anyone with experience help me out choosing please?

Interested in this too. I guess static residential with the multilogin or incogniton app should get rid of fingerprints. I know that rotating mobile proxy is not a problem.

I'm not super technical. As far as I know by fingerprints they usually mean your browser and device fingerprints, which you can for sure mask with MultiLogin, but as I understood also your IP leaves certain fingerprints and according to the Luminati person that's what Facebook sees as suspicious for static residential IPs as apparently they can tell the IP is not from a home internet access but from an internet service provider.

But I don't know enough about this to judge if he told me BS or it makes sense.

Yes, the consensus seems to be that rotating mobile proxy is fine as long as they are exclusive. But also there I have a doubt: When picking exclusive you have to enter the domain for which they need to be exclusive (facebook.com in our case). With all the off-site tracking Facebook does, are we sure those are not already on Facebook's blacklist anyway?

4g proxies are indeed the preferred option for social media. They're expensive, but in most cases definitely worth it. If you want to go with residential proxies - static proxies are you best bet. It does look suspicious, if your IP rotates with each request.

Using my phone might be ok for the initial setup, but then I need to delegate the farming, so I need something I can install in Multilogin and forget about it.

nah just use firefox portable, with extensions you r good to go.

What do you mean? Same device for all profiles? Won't they recognize it's the same device?
We can't farm on mobile. Way too time-consuming. We need something that works on desktop.

Also because we need to run ads out of these profiles and on mobile it's not practical.

Antidetect VMWARE + good SOCKS5 works well for me!
