Hello, I seen this before but can't find it. what are the best local keywords to target? I want to buy some domains and sell ads on them.

also what are the top industries to target for seo? i seen this list before but also cant find. such as the high profit industries, accountants, dentists, lawyers, etc...

well you half answered your own question but you can get even more specific. So for lawyers you can target personal injury attorneys, civil, criminal, divorce, DUI etc... just as one example, any number of local insurance providers, auto, life, health or doctors of all types cardiologists, plastic surgeons etc..

1. The best local business keywords are typically those that have high search volume and low competition.

For example:
dentist [city] may have more search volume than [city] dentist, but [city] dentist may be less competitive.

When doing keyword research, also target related industries and topics, for example, dentistry is related to: orthodontics, teeth whitening, dentures, etc.

2. If you mean the most lucrative local businesses to target for local SEO, then you need to look at businesses whose average $ sale per client per year is at least $1000, i.e. those who make over $1000 in sales per client over a year.

Always think about what the people going to the site will be looking for. Dentist can = toothpaste= whitening=gum health=bad breathe etc etc. Look around see how you can scope everything together.
