Best linux OS for Blkhat use?

If your new to Linux I would recommend Ubuntu or Suse . These are well documented and relatively easy to install. Just google them and download for free.

Yeah, I've got Ubuntu running on my ESX vmw*re server as vm...but, since it's fairly new I thought maybe like Redhat, FreeBSD, or, if a specific linux OS gave a hand up with tweaking apache or for blckhatting. I'm thinking it's even across board but wanted some confirmation bf really digging in!

I don't think there are any distros that are specific to blackhat marketing and SEO... Wait, did you think this was a blackhat hacking forum?

I'm using PCLinuxOS 2007 right now. It's quite stable and have better look than windows (XP) and give you better protection against viruses.
You can download it for free at www.pclinuxos.com
just download the 2007 version (KDE) because 2008 version is not quite stable when installed in my computer (I'm using 256RAM and Pentium (4) 2.40GHz)
But b'cause soo many windows program won't work on Linux (especially blackhat software), I suggest you using dual OS (windows and linux installed in one computer).

I was more so looking for preferences from very exp. blkhatters...
Yeah very true, most of bh tools win based it seems... the only applicable linux method seen was mod-rewrite with cookie stuff and that's not really exclusively a BH method.... Definitely, apache w/linux is more secure&stable... is it better then to have all sites on linux box or only when calls for using bh methods. Or, rephrase that, does utilizing apache w/linux give advantages when using BH over IIS..etc. This I think was the real intent of my question.

Theres a linux distro called BackTrack you could take a look at
Fan of Back|Track myself. It's based on Knoppix, like many other distros. Only thing I've found is that these live os's (B|T, Knoppix) is that they tend to have many issues during install. Although once they're on, it's nice to have 'em.

Backtrack 2 is nice, as is Knoppix STD, for live CDs.

For advanced Linux users I would recommend Gentoo for its customization and massive package repository or backtrack 2 for a live disk.
when it comes to what operating system you use, thats on a different scale than blackhatting.
determining what OS you use has nothing to do with "which ones blackhat friendly", more of "how good am i with ____ for my OS"
choose whats comfortible with you, an OS wont determine blackhat results.
granted, there could be something i dont know, i dont see how an OS would change much.

Cool, great step by step! I think I'll try a few different ones and play around... seem that ubuntu has more pages on web than any other so might be easier get help... BackTrack seems to be mentioned alot... good stuff!
It would seem some linux os's might have more resources dev'd that could lend a hand up on a few of the others....BackTrack2 seems to be one of those just from initial look. All in all this is great feed back and appreciate it!
I'm quite the linux guru yet & getting upto par w/ apache now. Still liked to know if you all run your sites all linux, IIS...both...etc. supposedly then any cookie st*ffng sites would definitely be on apache but what about any others? What benefits does apache offer over IIS in blackhatting besides cookie redirect advantage...? Some already gave thoughts related to linux... just thought I'd throw it out there see what people say with the differ web servers...they prefer.
